Outlook Spell Check 2007 not working

Subject: Outlook Spell Check 2007 not working

I am running Outlook 2007 under Vista . . . also Microsoft Word 2007.

The spellcheck does not work in my outlook email messages . . . I can type
all sorts of gobbly-gook (for instance, "erqw30uavoiuwer") . . and the
spell checker says "spell check completed" . . . but does NOT find ANY errors.

The speller checker works fine in Microsoft Word 2007 . . . but does not
work at all in Outlook 2007.

What gives?

How to fix it?

Hi Jim. My customer has the same problem..Office 2007 on XP. Spell checker
works in Word 2007 which is the editor for Outlook 2007 but spell checker
doesn't work in Outlook. It was working fine originally now it does the same
as you stated. From other threads it appears this is a common problem. I've
tried checking all the settings.
