General outlook 2007 problems that my users are having

Ok, I have about 160 users that are have just general crashes in Outlook
2007. All the users are on XP Pro sp2 and Office 2007 SP1. They are all
connecting to our local Exchange 2003 server. All the users systems were done
as an upgrade from 2003.

The errors that I run into are random crashes when…
1. Opening or creating emails.
2. Viewing calendars (theirs or shared ones)
3. Outlook randomly crashes when launching (having to do the task manager to
kill the process or rebooting resolves this).
4. Outlook hangs for up to 5 minutes at random. This happens with or without
PST’s (small or large) and small or large OST’s
5. Outlook hangs when logging onto a system that was upgraded with a PST
still attached to the users profile. Having to remove/rename the data file
resolved this
6. Spell checker turning off or going to a different language when it was
working for several weeks. Removing the users profile seems to be the only
fix.

I have done some Outlook “Command-Line†switches and that has helped a few
(like the /cleanreminders). I have gone in and disabled add-ons on some
systems without much luck. In general the random errors are causing most
users to want to roll back to 2003.

I am looking for some type of way to either resolve these. Uninstalling
2007 off of the system and doing a clean install has only helped in a few
cases.

In general I am trying to find a way to help reduce the problems that users
are having. Anyone know of some good tips or tricks? Patches I can get?
Registry changes I can do? Spells I can cast?

Thanks for any input.
