Outlook 2002 crashes when using spell checker

Recently my outlook 2002 started to crash for no given reason without giving
me an error or leaving any message. I try all the tools available, but could
not resolve de problem. I had to uninstall office, install it again, update
it and so on.... I was able to have a more stable outlook although lately I
found another problem: When I try to use the spell checker, outlook
immediately crashes.
I have wXP, P3850mz, 250mb Ram.
I appreciate your compassion and someone out there pls help.

There's a new 10/13 update for Office XP (2002) that you can d/l from the
Windows Update site. It corrects a previous update error. Don't know if it
applies to your problem, but it's worth a try. Spell check depends on Word,
Powerpoint and/or Excel. Make sure you have one of these installed.
