Hi,

I have been using the outlook connector since it's release and has worked
okay thus far. How I now have an issue with stop receiving any new mail from
hotmail on the 19th June 2009. I can still send mail and I can still view all
mail online.

This is version 12.1 - 12.0.6423.1000 on Windows 7 RC and Outlook 2007 SP2.

This is what I tried so far:
I removed and deleted my hotmail account .
Deleted all pst from C:\Users\<username>\appdata\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.
Removed OC
Re-installed.
Re-added the account.

It resync all my mail (2.5GB) up to 19th June and then stops.

This issue is affecting both my desktop and laptop.

When clicking Outlook connector > contact Us to log an email support. It
finds the Outlook connector product, tries to detect the PID and fails. If I
manually add the PID it does not accept it.

Anyone encounter this?

It could be that the last or next email is damaged and stops the sync.
Examine the message via the web based Live Hotmail interface and then either
try deleting it or moving it to another folder. See if the sync picks up
again.

Thanks for the reply Robert.

As you suggested and I also delete additonal before and after messages.
Clicking on send and received removes all message I deleted before the 19th
and including previous last message but does not retrieve any newer messages.

I have folders and notice a couple of folders have message from the 15th
June then a gap and then about two or three message on 24th then nothing else.

Robert - it resolved it!

Deleted a few more messages from Inbox and folders and it now it seems to be
receiving all new messages. The missing two weeks is still missing but
available online only.

Many Thanks

If the "missing" mail is available online, try moving it to another folder to
see if the connector sees it then.

My initial issue has resumed after working again for only a couple of days :(
