Upgrading to Outlook Connector 12.1

I've found that there's a verion 12.1 of Outlook Connector. I currently have
version 12.06.6414.1000 installed and it is working fine. Several questions:
1. Are there significant changes in 12.1 to warrant upgrading from 12.06? 2.
If so, how do I properly install 12.1?

I've downloaded the 12.1 version, when I start the install, I get only two
options, repair or replace. Do I have to uninstall my current version of
Connector? Will any of my current connector settings/info be retained, or
will I need to start from scratch when 12.1 is installed. I guess that's
more than 2 questions, huh? Thanks in advance for your help. Gary O'Berto

That build number is version number 12.1
It indeed looks a bit confusing though ;-)

I find that the version remains the same 12.0.6414 - even the downloaded
update file is version 12.0.6414 - where is the version 12.1?

See my original reply.

Named version do not necessarily need to correspond with build numbers.
Office 2007 for instance has build number 12 and Windows 7 has a 6.1 NT
Kernel version number and a build number of 7xxx.

You already have your answer but I wanted to use your thread as an occasion
to say that if you're still using the Outlook 12.0 connector, it will
automatically detect that a new version has been released and ask if you
wish to update. It did for me.
