Outlook 2007 Profiles

Mike

I can not add a new profile in outlook 2007. There is no Mail option in the
control panel. I have installed and used Outlook 2007. I currently have two
email accounts I would like separate profiles for. I am running Vista x64.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Odd, the Mail applet in the control panel should be in the "View 32-bit
Control Panel Items" section. In any event, the MLCFG32.CPL file can be
found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12.

(We just got a new Dell with Vista & Outlook 2007.) Our Mail applet is also
not showing up in the Control Panel items section. Thanks for the filename!
I was able to access Mail using that.

I'm trying to add a new Outlook profile. When I'm asked for the server URL,
what do I enter for a yahoo.com email account? my.yahoo.? Also, is the
email account type a POP3 or http or something else? I just guessed and
entered "http". (This will be my first time to use Outlook).

Thanks!
Karen

That's probably because you have 64 bit Vista. You must show the 32 bit
control panel in order to see it there.
