eliminating profiles

usOutlook 2007 running on Vista Business on a Lenovo X301. Outlook has been
installed for a while and is working.

Somehow I created an additional profile. Whenever Outlook starts, it asks
me which profile to use. I want to eliminate the extra profile. Outlook
help says go to control panel -> user accounts and click mail but there is no
mail button to click. In the classic view, it says to double click mail
except there is no mail.

I suggest you might be mis-reading Help - it's in Control Panel-Mail-Show
Profiles...

I certainly could be mis-reading help, but I have the laptop right here. In
control panel classic view, there is no "Mail". It goes from "Keyboard" to
"Mouse" with nothing inbetween. If I go to Control Panel Home (the Vista
View), I can find "User Accounts" but that only allows me to change account
types.

Is there something which prevents me from seeing this? Outlook 2007 has
been installed for a few weeks.

Now I can open Windows Mail. At one point that says that there are multiple
identities. When I try to import them (and convert them) I cannot as a
dialog box comes up and says that "All identities have already been imported
or deleted". I get a similar message when I try to delete identities.

is that vista x64? look under the 32 bit group.

Bullseye! Thank you! The help file should mention that.

Now, unfortunately, Outlook still starts with the drop down list even though
there is only one choice. How do I get rid of that dialog box? Thanks.
