Outlook 2003 selects wrong entry from AutoComplete list

We have several users experiencing this problem - when they start to type an
email address in the To field, the AutoComplete list appears as expected.
However, regardless of which address they click with the mouse, the field is
populated with the first address on the list. If they then delete the address
and try again, it works as intended - ie, the problem is only evident for the
first attempt in any given new message.
I have copied their NK2 file to my profile to rule out corruption, and it
worked correctly. I have removed their NK2 file but the problem persists once
the new one is repopulated. In desparation I have also tried deleting their
terminal services profile (Outlook is run in a Citrix environment) to no
avail.

Has anyone come across this issue before, as I have drawn a complete blank
after several days' web searching.

What happens when they select the name by using the arrows keys?
When you tested it in your profile, was this on the Terminal Server as well?
Does this issue occurs for all users on that Terminal Server or only a
select view?

Thanks for your reply.
Selection with the arrow keys works correctly. Yes, I tested this using TS
too. It does not affect all users; it's difficult to guess at how many as
most who have the problem have just been putting up with it.

It almost sounds like a mouse capturing event issue.
When they switch to a machine you know works correctly and then logon to
their Terminal Server session, does it work correctly then?

It's a bit trying to determine which variable is actually causing this
before a solution can be found.

Many of our users are "remote" workers, without access to another domain
computer or terminal. I will have to track down someone who is going into an
office in the next couple of days, and ask them to log on there and check.

It seems that when logged into a terminal, the problem is not evident - it
reoccurs when switching back to their laptop. There are some users
experiencing the problem when logged in on a terminal too though.
Unless anyone can suggest anything else, I'm going to try reinstalling the
latest Citrix client on the laptop to see if it helps; will post results back
here.

We have installed the latest Citrix ICA client to the laptop and the problem
has not been resolved. Can anyone suggest a next step??
