how can autocomplete access my contact list?

I'm somewhat new to this version of Outlook. But, I'm having trouble getting
the autocomplete function to include my list of contacts in the suggestions.
I have autocomplete turned on.

Based on a posted help item, I cannot find my .NK2 file (I have show hidden
files on). Is this a problem?

What is 'this version'? There have been changes over the various versions.

What version of Outlook also the Autocomplete NK2 file is a standalone
cached list of address that doesn't know anything about your Contact folder
or any other address type

I'm using 2003 w/SP1. Is there a way for autocomplete to recognize your
contact list? This seems so basic I can't believe I can't fihure it out.

Good article on the NK2 file here
http://www.ingressor.com/autocompletetips.htm basically though its a stand
alone file that stores it's own internal lists of address that it compiles
as you use Outlook. Have you made sure to explicitly search hidden files and
folders (if using WinXP) it isn't enough to just turn on Show Hidden files
and folders.
