Outlook 2003 AutoComplete/Nickname cache

Hi all,

The AutoComplete/Nickname cache in Outlook 2003 is a very time saving
feature. I would like to know if there is a way, beside deleting the *.NK2
file in a user profile, to remove a single cached email address ?

One of our user comes from another company and some user have her old email
address cached in their outlook <profile_name>.NK2 file. Can a single entry
can be deleted from that file ? I have tried unsuccessfully to rename or
delete an entry in the NK2 file.

Best regards,

When Outlook suggests the name, use the arrow keys to highlight the
suggestion and then press the delete key.

If you are having problems with a single recipient, you can easily delete
one item in the cache.

1.. In Outlook 2003, from the File menu, choose New and then choose Mail
Message

2.. Type one or more letters of the recipient name or address; this will
automatically show cached entries in a drop-down list. Use the arrow keys on
your keyboard to select the entry to be deleted. With the entry highlighted,
press the Delete key on the keyboard.

3.. This entry is now removed from your AutoComplete/Nickname cache.
