Office 2003 Autocomplete/Suggestion

I'm using Windows 2000 and Office 2003. When I send messages the cache is
not being updated. I've tried recreating the file and created a new profile.
The .nk2 file keeps coming back but will not update. The option to suggest
email addresses is checked. I can move someone elses .NK2 file in to my
profile directory and I can see theirs, however, when I send messages to
people not on that list and close outlook I can see the modify time update
with the time that outlook closed, but the new address will not update. Does
anyone have any ideas on additional things to try to causes for this problem.
Can this feature be blocked by policy? Thanks

I saw a previous post by you suggesting that so I already tried that. Thanks
though. The .NK2 file is not marked as "Read Only". What else have you got?

Thanks

Sometimes antivirus software will mark your NK2 file as read only. Turn off
AV temporarily and see if the problem goes away.

That's all. Creating a new profile and disabling AV have worked for everyone
else. This is something new. Check with the folks at Ingressor.com. They're
always finding out new things about NK2 files. Microsoft tells us nothing.
