Outlook 2000 won't start. Gives error message and closes.

As soon as Outlook screen appears, Outlook 2000 gives error message and shuts
down. Has been working perfectly. Reloading program from original
Office2000Professional CD doesn't solve the problem. Active Sync with Ipac
Pocket PC still appears to sync OK. I haven't loaded any new software other
than Microsoft auto updates.

Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience.
(It goes on to ask if I wish to send an error report to Microsoft).
