Outlook 2007 Blank Messages

Within last couple of weeks, Hotmail is putting quite a few "safe senders"
into junk mail. When I send/receive in Outlook, they appear in my junk mail
as blank messages. When I mark as "not junk" in Outlook, they move into
Inbox but as blanks. When I mark them as "not junk" in Hotmail they move to
Inbox ok. The senders are in the "safe" list on both Outlook and Hotmail.
The only way I can see the message is to go to Hotmail and forward the
message to myself and then it will appear from me in Outlook and contain the
original message. But I have to do this before Hotmail/Outlook sync again,
otherwise Outlook passes Hotmail the blank message. I'm completely defuddled
.. . . I think it happened around the time of the March Microsoft Updates
which I applied on March 9 or 10. HELP!!!

Thanks Diane. I am using Microsoft OneCare as antivirus. I don't know if
it's scanning inbound emails. There is an Exclude File feature in OneCare.
Should I exclude just pst files or ost too? If I exclude these files, then
how do I manage viruses in Outlook? I collect other email accounts in
addition to Hotmail in Outlook.

[To Exclude Files in OneCare Virus Scanning
[Open OneCare.
[Under Quick links, click Change settings.
[On the Viruses and Spyware tab, under Advanced settings, click Exclusions.
[Click Add File.
[Select the file that you want to exclude.
[Click Open, and then click OK

Are you using an antivirus scanner to scan incoming email? If so, disable
it.
