Outlook 2000 won't open after Goldmine sync

I use Outlook 2000 to sync with Goldmine 5 so I may use my Palm PC with
Goldmine. It was working great until I completed a normal sync with
Goldmine. Now Outlook will bring up a screen and show an error message in XP
sp2 and won't open. I've tried to repair, remove, and then reinstall Office
w/outlook and still have the same results. Any suggestions on where/how to
look for a fix?

Thanks

From the report that XP tries to send to MS I have the following:

Code: 0xc0000005 File: 0x00000000
Record: 0x0000000000000000
Address: 0x00000000000369f

I have clicked on "debug" as well and still won't start. Any other error
code data that would be helpful? Where would I find. I tried to copy the
entire report that XP was wanting to send to MS and couldn't do it.

Thanks

Check the Application Log in the Event Viewer for errors reported by
Outlook. You can find the Event Viewer in Control Panel-> Administrative
Tools

That indicates an issue with McAfee Spam Killer. Disable its integration
with Outlook and try again.

Dear Robert,

I just applied your "fix" and it worked. I had disabled the spam killer
some time ago, it had expired the trial time, and it must have been still
working. I had to remove it completely.

Many thanks for your help.

Aster.
