We use tasks for project management and meeting minutes. Is there a way to
number or outline number (e.g. 1.1.1 etc.) tasks so that we can refer
individuals to a given task?

Thanks,

Sally.

only if you do it when you create the task (or edit the subject later)

Thank you for your response...

Are you advising that the only way to do this is to manually insert a number
in the subject box?

I looked for some way to assign a number when creating a task or inserting a
"number" field in the task dialogue window, but no success.

Is there anyway to add a column and populate the column in the task overview
window?

Thanks,

Sally.
