Opening new browser window

I run IE 6 on an XP computer. Lately I have been having a problem right
clicking on a link to open in a new window. It seems that the page must load
completely before the new window will open. I know this wasn't the case in
the past, but I've been having a terrible time getting it to work. Sometimes
I right click on the same link 4 or 5 times before the new window will open.

Any ideas on what could cause that - or a solution.
