Opening in unwanted programs

Ok here's my problem. Whenever I double click on a picture
it uploads in a program I don't want it to upload in. But
I do however have a program that I do want to upload it
in. Is there anyway to change from one program to another,
so that when I double click on a picture it'll upload in
the right program?

You want to open it, is that correct?

Open an explorer window (like "My Computer"), and go to the Tools menu.
Choose Folder Options. Choose "File Types". Find the kind of file that you
are trying to open, and click on it. Click "Change" and choose the program
you want to open it with.
