<Open with> missing in Context menu

I have Windows XP SP3. Recently, I noticed that a Context menu (right click)
changed. Particularly, I miss the <Open with> option which allowed me to
choose what program to use to open a file...
How can I restore the context menu or add one or two options?

Do you mean you see the same menu options at
(a) Select and Right Click
(b) Select and Shift and Right Click.
The convention is that only item (b) shows both "Open"
and "Open with . . . " Item (b) shows the first only.

See if this helps.

Line 220, left hand column, Restore Open with on the Right Click

Good luck

Yes, Nepatsfan, this is exactly what I wanted and it works! Thanks for your
suggestion. Appreciate it.
BTW, do you know what caused this and some other options in the Context menu
to disappear? How to prevent it in the future?
Thanks again!

You're welcome.

As for your question, I have no idea what may have changed your registry to
remove that entry in the context menu. You might want to add that web sites
to your Favorites in case it happens again.

Well, I used Knox's and Kelly's sites in the past, but forgot about...
Thanks again for the reminder...
