"Open With" context menu edit not working

When I select "Open With > Choose Program..." in the context menu for a
particular file, the "Open With" dialog appears. Under "Recommended
Programs", a particular program is listed twice.

Is there a registry fix for this?

This program is also listed twice in the "Open With" context menu and I
have tried editing the sub-key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.***\OpenWithList
but it makes no difference.

Any help is appreciated!

Hi man,
goto
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\

underthis goto the desired extension and then select OpenWithList and delete
the keys like a,b,c,etc...
