It's hubby who usually tends to them here (we feed them year-round) and, at the moment, he has a Robin-groupie. The little fellow follows him around the garden, twittering and singing and hopping up very close. Even visitors have remarked on it, because Mr Robin will instantly appear whenever he spies him. :)

All I see of birdlife on my patio is pigeons, mostly. There are lots of seagulls about but they rarely land on my roof, I sometimes see crows and once saw a pair of herons, but that's it.

As for the pigeons, all they do is crap everywhere and make a noise, making me wonder whether an investment in a high powered air rifle might be worthwhile ;)

Which is a shame as I'd like to feed some of the smaller bird species but it looks as though that's not to be.
