NTDLL.DLL crashing

I have been having numerous problems with the NTDLL.DLL
file crashing on my win xp pro system. This became such
an annoyance that I decided to reformat and reinstall my
operating system and just not finished reinstalling all
my apps. Just as I was closing a window the error window
came up again and told me it had crashed again!
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I think that it might be one of your apps that have a
missing or corrupted dll.try downloading ntdll.dll and
replace the one that you have.
