The problem, however, is I have no idea how to find out what the sound card
is. If I knew the actual make/model I would have already installed the
drivers.
How am supposed to find out what the actual sound card is when it doesn't
give me ANY information? ((See below))

Do a google for "Belarc Advisor"
it will tell you everything you have on your machine and the
websites............install it first
