I ran the Belarc software to see what the computer was using as far as sound
was concerened. Under multimedia, nothing showed up. I know this computer can
play sound because it was doing so yesterday. I have no idea wat to do.

Previous posts are as follows:

The problem, however, is I have no idea how to find out what the sound card
is. If I knew the actual make/model I would have already installed the
drivers.
How am supposed to find out what the actual sound card is when it doesn't
give me ANY information? ((See below))

So under Belarc what does it say for MotherBoard? chipset?
What did you buy a soundcard that installed or onboard sound on the
motherboard.??

By the way dont start a new posting each time reply to this thread and it will
be much easier for other as well as me to follow.
I wont have to track your answer down in this newsgroup of a 1000
postings.......i just wont bother
