Need help w/sound card

I recently tried to install a game on my computer and got a message that said
"We were unable to automatically detect your sound card. Enter your sound
card information." I've installed lots of games on my computer and never had
this happen before.

I clicked "ok" and a screen came up that wanted me to enter information for
the Port, IRQ, and DMA of my sound card. I have looked everywhere in my
control panel and on microsoft help and I can't seem to find out how to get
this information about my sound card! Can anybody help me?

msinfo32

All that did was bring me to the Windows Help and Support center. I tried
that already and couldn't find the information I was looking for which is why
I posted to this message board.

Mark,
I have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you are responding to the
wrong post? Please see my original post. My question was about a game I tried
to run that said it could not automatically detect my sound card and wanted
me to manually input the Port, IRQ, and DMA and I was asking how to find that
information.
