I installed a graphics card that is experiencing problems. Everything works
ok until I try to play a movie or a game, then it wants to freeze up and
hesitate.
In hardware resources under conflicts and sharing it shows my graphics card,
sound card, and usb universal host controler are all using IRQ 11.
Could this conflict cause the graphics, and sound card to freeze up the
computer,
and if yes, can i fix this myself?

Your graphics card was assigned IRQ 11 by default. Yes, there is
very likely a conflict with three devices on the same IRQ. You can
check the properties and may be able to reserve a different IRQ for
the card or change one of the other devices in the BIOS.

Does your computer meet or - preferably - exceed the minimum hardware
requirements specified by the DVD Player's and/or game manufacturers,
particularly in regard to system RAM and CPU speed?

Not under most circumstances, no. The OS is designed to operate in
this manner.

What happens when you install the most recent WinXP-specific video
drivers, as provided by your video adapter's manufacturer's web site?
