no soundcard and no sound off cd drive

I do not have a sound card but I want sound out of my
headphone jack on the cd drive any suggestion on how to do
this. I have tried changing output to analog and no luck.

The headphone jack will ONLY provide audio from a music CD that is playing
in the drive.

Not from anything that originates from the hard drive.. ie wav files, game
sound etc.

well duh... That is what I want to do where the old CD
player would let you media player will not.
