No Domain Controller Available

I have a win2k Server with AD, set up as a primary domain controller. We
have a local area neatwork, running into two linksys switches. The Win98
machines have stopped being validated. They come up with "No Domain
Controller is available". I can manually map drives, and printers, so
security is working. But cannot log in. The Netlogon service is active. I
read a tech article saying it would be protocol (100basetx/Full) that does
not match. We have about 15 workstations, and maybe 8 of them (all Win98)
are having this problem. WinXP, and Win2K Pro stations don't have the
problem. Please help.

Are the Windows 98 clients set up to see only the AD DNS server for DNS name
resolution?

Robert,
Yes, I use a locak DNS server on the Win2K Server for Name Resolution. It
is sounding more and more about WINS problem. I will check that today.
funny, but some of the Win98 boxes log in correctly, and run the logon
script. --

I do have a WINS Server, but if it is not functioning, then could that be
the issue. I will check this out, and see if the problem still
exists...thank you.
