Network scanning

we are setting up a new office where they will connect to
our network using terminal server client.

Is it possible for them to have a network scanner there
that will allow them to scan to the network they are
connecting to rather than just locally

Yes, this is very possible. There are a few network
scanners out there that can accomplish this task. I would
highly recommend you purchase one for evalutation, and
then proceed from there.
