NETWORK PRINTERS

I am running XP on my host printer which supports my HP
primter (shared). I am trying to get my client computer
running 2000 to recognize a network printer without
success. I tried to add a network printer to the client
computer without success. Any thoughts?

Is the internet connection firewall enabled. You can't share files or
printers until you enabled ports for sharing
