.net won't install

ImLost

runnng windows 2000 pro with all latest update, SP's and
installers.
trying to install .net framework and it just won't
install. No reasons given, have checked all databases,
including microsoft knowledge base, etc.
What am I missing or need to do?
any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure i understand what you mean by it won't install. The .net
installation process writes a setup error log file. Crack this open to find
ot exactly what the errors are.
