Need Help With Instllation Problem.

i have bought new computer and want to upgrade to XP pro, i go through the
normal process it reaches about half way saying it has 39 mins left and the
computer shutsdown and restarts , and does this everytime, how can i cancel
the instal and instal a diferent windows or fix it ?

What is the new computer and what OS is on it now?

A sudden restart is often a sign of a hardware problem, such as failing or
incompatible memory.
