My system shutsdown and reboots automatically while playing games, no other
times but then. I keep getting message from Microsoft after reporting
shutdown to them that I have a device driver problem, but they have no
suggestions for a fix. The thing is...I haven't installed any new hardware
or software. Does anyone else have this problem and how can it be fixed?

Games use alot of resources, more than any other application, try going
to run, type:DXDIAG Run the Direct X utility..."You havent installed any new
hardware or software" maybe you need to..Update the display adapter drivers/
software,download the latest Direct X from microsoft,etc.....

I have done the things you suggested Andrew and will let you know if this has
helped. Thanks for your time.
