Need a guide to follow on how to reinstall my OS Xp

i need a guide to help me step by step on how to
reinstall my OS windows xp also if it isnt a big problem
is that i wanna turn off services windows xp starts that
are useless or not needed in my case. please help i wanna
do my whole system over
