how to reinstall/ repair XP with sp 3 when u have only XP disk??

my Dell pc came with the XP OS on disk, however, when i insert it to repair/
reinstall it will not allow, because this PC has been updated to SP 2 then SP
3. whats a girl to do? i wanna try reinstall to correct start up/ shut down
issues, (at least thats what the help section sayid to do, a repair
installation from disk) Yeah its about 9-10 years old but still a good pc.
and the HD has tons of space..

You slipstream the SP3 download with the original CD and burn a new CD which
will then be an XP w/SP3 CD - then you do the repair install. Search Google
for AutoStreamer - it makes the process easy.

Create a "Slipstreamed" version of XP that incorporates SP3
AutoStreamer, it's easy to use and for the most part self explanatory.
