Every time you lose connection then reconnect, you will probably have a
new ip address. That's the normal occurrence. Since it doesn't happen
to you very often, you must have a DSL or Cable connection that's almost
always connected. It's possible to get a "sticky" ip address, that
tends to remain the same, but you pay more for that.
