I am trying to delete some photo's in my documents, but
instead of deleting, more copies are appearing in my
documents, so now have a few copies of the same photo.
Can anyone help out / or has come across this problem?
Many thanks
TD

Tony, just open the folder with the photos in it rt click on them and
delete.

In the course of selecting - especially in a multiple select - you are
probably moving the mouse enough for it to be seen as a drag - and hence
a copy. Make this less sensitive - Use TweakUI - one of the XP
Powertoys from (if you have installed XP SP1)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

If you have not installed SP!, the earlier version can be found at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Once installed you will find it in Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

Its Mouse page, put up the value in the 'drag' box. I suggest to 25, so
you have to move around an icon size (standard 32) before it is seen as
a drag

The right-click advice is good. Additionally, this often happens to
people who may not be completely adept at using the mouse. Try
adjusting the mouse sensitivity and speed to something more suited to
*your* style and comfort. Do this in the Control Panel applet for your
mouse or pointing device.
