Hey! Sorry I aint been here much for a while... guess I only really come crawling back when my computers in trouble 
Anyway: i`ve just reinstalled Windows XP Pro onto a Samsung Spinpoint SATAII disk and now accessing My computer (mainly the disk partitions) and the taskbar causes the system to freeze for a minute or so. have no idea how I managed to get here! Desktop folders are fine.
i`ve checked my SATA cable- seems fine, cant think of muc at all that might be doing this.
I installed the SATA drivers etc when I originally setup the disk, but when I reformatted last night, I didnt. Could this be part of it?
