Mp3 problem

Using PowerPoint 2002 (10.6501.6714) SP3, I need to have an mp3 sound file
play during the presentation. The mp3 file is shorter than the presentation,
so it needs to be reintroduced two or three times during the presentation.
It works on the first reintroduction, but on the second one, it hangs up the
slide even though Timing is set as “with previous†(the first item, a logo,
on the slide) and “0 second delay†and Effect is set “Start playing from
beginning†and “Stop playing after 999 slides†on all reintroductions. My
slides have multiple custom animations/transitions. Any ideas?

Thank you so much! What a simple, effective solution. I've spent hours on
this and waded through all the mp3 posts (and referred sites) here. Don't
think I saw a reference to the "Edit sound object - loop" menu--just editing
the "Custom animations."
