Linking MP3 Files in PowerPoint

I linked an MP3 file to every slide in my PowerPoint presentation, but when I
play the presentation in Slide Show mode, every audio file has been clipped
(i.e. it's not being played in its entirety). Suprisingly though, if I right
click on the sound icon and click "Play Sound," I hear everything. Does
anyone know why this occurs, and how it may be fixed.

What was the source of the MP3 files? (Yes, it makes a difference. ;-) )

Maybe you just set some animation timing for the slide, so the audio is
clipped as the slide is advanced to the next. Just reset the timing as you
need.
