Movie Maker 2 want install!

I tried everything to get it to work.

Copy the contents of
the "C:\WINDOWS\RegisteredPackages\{60BFF50D-FB2C-4498-
A577-C9548C390BB9}" folder into your "C:\Program
Files\MovieMaker" folder, overwriting the files when it
prompts you to. Right click on the mm20ex.inf file and
choose install. Doubleclick on the moviemk.exe file will
then launch Movie Maker 2.

But when i go to C:\WINDOWS\RegisteredPackages\{60BFF50D-
FB2C-4498-A577-C9548C390BB9}to do as it says, theres
nothing there to copy...
Help! Please!

Ok I went to papajohn site and found some info....

7/16/03 e-mails from Stephen Heald - My problem is that
I'm getting an apparently successful install, but the
bloody OS seems to keep copying back the version 1 exe
over the newly installed version 2... It looks like, if
an MM2 install goes wrong, it's really stuffed up until
you can uninstall it.

I decided I would try to extract the exe from the version
2 installer and just rename it and have both running on
my machine.

Well, while doing this, I stumbled across a way to
completely uninstall Movie Maker 2, registry settings and
all.

1) I downloaded WinZip.

2) I dragged the Movie Maker 2 installer EXE package into
WinZip and extracted the MSI file.

3) Now that the MSI is sitting out in the File Explorer,
you can right click it and select the "Uninstall" option.

4) Movie Maker 2 is now uninstalled.

5) Now run the MM2 installation package again, with a
clean slate.

But after doing that it still doesn't work.
I keep getting this message. ( The software you are
installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify
its compatility with Windows XP.
I do have Windows XP. I'm stuck and very frustrating. Can
anyone help?
