Movie Maker 2

I continue to have problems installing Movie Maker 2
tried the suggestion to copy contents of
the"C:\WINDOWS\RegisteredPackages\ {60BFF50D-FB2C-4498-
A577-C9548C390BB9} folder into the c:\Program
Files\MovieMaker" folder, however, it did not help.

Does anyone know what needs to be done to upgrade from
Movie Maker 1 to Movie Maker 2?

Give us more info on what problem your having. It might be your chipset. I
had VIA and every time I try to capture/save to tape the computer would
freeze. One day my motherboard went bad and I bought a new one and it came
with the Nvidia chipset. And now everything works.
