mouse scrolling problems

I cant get the mouse to scroll. It seems to be on
autopilot always going to the bottom of whatever menu or
screen I am on, not being able to change it. Sometimes it
moves eratically on its own. Any suggestions?

Rebecca, go to Classic Control Panel and click on the Mouse Icon. See if
there's any adjustments you can make there.
Go to the website of the manufacturer and download the latest WinXP
drivers.
