scroll options on mouse pad dosent work anymore

hello, i have a touch pad mouse with the scroll options on the right hand
side and along the bottom. instead of clicking and dragging the scroll bar
to scroll down, i would just make sure my mouse was clicked within the page
and be able to scroll by moving my finger down the right side of the touch
pad/mouse pad. i did some changes to my computer, not changing that, but it
no longer works and i dont know where to change it back. i looked within the
control panel/hardware/mouse but it has no option in there to turn it on.
where is it? how do i change this back? thanks!

Sounds like you may need to reinstall the driver for the touchpad. Check the
manufacturer's website, they usually have these drivers available. I've had
this happen when I install a separate mouse.
