memory mouse 8000 wheel not scrolling

I have a mobile memory mouse 8000 and cannot get the scrolling to work. The
wheel will click for desktop window rotation but the scroll will not move in
in IE, or any other application.

Are you using the Intellipoint drivers and if yes, which version?
