Mouse problem

Hi, i have win xp pro. i have tried using a serial mouse
and ps/2 mouse and both of these run slow only sometimes.
when playing games or just using the internet they will
sometimes become slow and stutter and not move. Im not
sure why this is. does anyone know?

Could be according to what games you are playing and how powerful a
system you have you too heavy a load is placed
on your System Resources.

A USB mouse has a faster scan rate and higher bandwidth, try
a USB mouse. Make sure that your system is clean, no
spyware or Trojans. Make sure your games are not using all
the CPU cycles to run the video. If your computer uses
"shared video" and you set the resolution too fast/too high
the CPU will be taxed.
