Microsoft Wireless gaming reciever

I have purchased a wireless gaming reciever from microsoft and am trying to
use it with my wireless xbox controller. I have tried configuring the
controls for games like halo but it doesn't respond. I know halo recodnizes
the controller and its activated in my profile but it still doesn't respond
when i try and configure it to the controls. It isn't working for any of my
games. What do i need to do? I am new to Microsoft so i don't realy know my
way around.

This is a Xbox-type issue, so I think you should consult the Xbox.com
information:
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/search.aspx?keyword=wireless+gaming+receiver Keep
in mind that not ALL games are going to be usable with the Xbox 360
controller. If a game doesn't support a controller usage, i.e., is all
keyboard, then it won't work. Check the information in the links I dug up
on Xbox.com, and perhaps it can solve the issues for you.
