microphone hel[p me please

can any one help i am running windows xp i bought a mic to
use on msn to chat to friends it was pluged in and i have
not been able to work it it was just a pink plug no usb
can you help
 
Don't know about MSN, but yahoo has a has a audio wizard
on the help menu too help you set it. Plug it in and out a
couple times cause most computers will suck dust into the
hole when nothing is pluged in it.
