Hello
I am new to Vista Home premium on brand new computor. I am having problems
send an email to an address that works fine in Windows XP (thats installed
on my laptop) I get an email back saying: Your message could not be
delivered as the destination computor does not support electronic mail
(SMTP) Correct any mistakes and try sending your message again. Then it
says: host __________ does not support SMTP.
I have sent emails to this address before and worked fine, and ideas on what
is wrong.
Greatly appreciate your help.

I wrote about a week ago to say I had trouble getting on line with a router
at home for my Inspiration. Finally the router guy said it's not the router
it's Vista. He fixed it and my laptop is working great. But e-mail is not
connected.I think it's still a Vista glitch.Microsft should tell users how to
fix this.

I will call the router people back this week to see if it can be fixed but I
don't use e-mail much .

Good Luck.

A few older router models have problems with Vista's default settings,
but there are workarounds. If you have the router working with web
sites, there is no reason why it won't work with email also.
