Ok, 'I'm a MESH Victim' and should be slapped around very creully for being such a brainless blind **** for buying a PC from this wretched organisation.

Thus, in the interests of the safety of future PC buyers, I believe that these potential buyers should be made aware that they are in serious danger of having some really nasty problems should anything go wrong with their new purchase.

First off, when I ordered my new PC some 3 months ago, it took over a month to be delivered when in actual fact they said it would be within 14 days when I ordered it.

Second, my internal Blu-RayDVD-Writer has packed in. So I called customer support at MESH and the guy wasn't able to help me resolve the problem. So, they wanted me to return the whole PC back to base, thus taking me out of action for 10 days. I said this was unacceptable and that I couldn't afford to be out of action for '10 days' which would more than likely (judging by past experience) take a whole lot longer than this.

So, after some deliberation they suggested that I just return the offending part (the DVD) back to base instead. So, I removed it and packaged it up nice and snug, ready to b esipped back to base.

And what has really 'pi**ed' me off is that the letter I've just received from Mesh (along with the Green label) explaining to me that I have to pay £20+VAT for carriage of the said item. So, I got on the phone to customer services and explained that this too is unacceptable, and the woman then explained that it was now just outside the 3 month period which means I have to now pay for carriage and that it "says so in the Terms & Conditions".

In other words they have me by the short & curlies and there is nothing I can do about it. So there'.

So, there is my detailed explanation as to why I think MESH needs to be exposed for their crap service.

Cheers

Explain that the law states that these periods of time start from recieving ownership..... not when payment is taken.
Recieving ownership = Delivered, not order processed.
Terms and Conditions are there to protect the firm however when up against the law the law takes priority.

If they keep arguing then you legally have the right for a full refund due to them breaking legal regulations.
I been there done that... good job my cousin is a specialist in commercial law :D

Hi, thanks for trying JaLing, but unfortunately I was just looking back my records and it looks like I took delivery in June, which means the 3 month period expired in September.

Oh well, back to the drawing board I guess.

I'm having a bad day :(

Mesh sadly dont respond to threads on this site due to the fact they cant control whats said!
Suggest however that you contact (e-mail address removed) who is their troubleshooter with problems like this.

Best thing that ever happened to our mesh pc was when the warranty ended!!!!

Yep, clearly they are bad.
You just have to do a search for MESH and they come up like a rash.
They really do need to sort themselves out, as they can't keep treating theIR their customers the way they do. Eventually businesses like that go bust, as there is no more effective advertising than word of mouth. And if the word on the street is negative (which clearly it is), then they're in deep sh*t.

bluecat have you contacted davey@mesh as mentioned earlier in this thread?
He may well be able to speed things up, I have used him in the past.

A lot is written about mesh here & on other forums, but at least the poll results were correct!

yes, thanks feckit I'm composing an email to him as we speak.
I'll send it this morning. I hope he can help resolve this, as I'm just debating whether to list MESH
on my community site:

http://www.twatass.com

That's where the ex ceo of Lehman Bros is just about to get listed. He's next.

Mesh on their website state the following:

"Award winning Service & Support"

In the unlikely event that you should require support, we employ highly skilled, UK based support personnel, to ensure a trouble free ownership experience.
