Maximize Upload Speed?

Winmodem 56k

I'm on a dial up connection. Uploading files to Usenet. It is taking
FOREVER!

How can I increase or maximize my upload speed?
(My download speed is fine)

56k speed/connection is a single
lane dirt road with 2 way traffic.

switch to dsl instead and get
on the highway....

If I could afford DSL I would not be posting this.
Or do you know where I can get DSL for $9.95 mo?

unfortunately, it is not your system
and there is not anything you can do
to make it faster.

you may be paying for 56k but in
real life you may only be at 12k. You
should contact your isp; as maybe your
connection needs adjustments or your
lines should be tested...

i think at&t has dsl for 14 bucks and
juno has 56k for 5 bucks.

what might help is for you to ensure
you don't have any adware and spywares.
run spybot and spyware terminator.
